Dael teaches yoga in the tradition of Krishnamacharya as taught by his son TKV Desikachar. She runs small group classes in her studio in Attadale, Western Australia. Classes are suitable for all, and can incorporate the many tools of yoga: asana (movement), pranayama (breath work), visualisation, meditation, sound. Movement links with the breath and modifications are made for individuals differences. Classes end with a Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation).
· For 30 years I’ve found my weekly yoga class has made me feel good. Over two years ago Dael made me an individual programme of breathing and exercises which I have followed at home on a regular basis while still attending a weekly class. As I’ve got older and developed some health issues, I’m sure the individual programme, which has been modified several times, has helped me keep on top of these problems. I intend to practise my yoga exercises, several days each week, for as long as I can.
